ਨ ਤ੍ਰਸਤੰ ਨ ਗ੍ਰਸਤੰ ਸਮਸਤੰ ਸਰੂਪੇ ॥ ਨਮਸਤੰ ਨਮਸਤੰ ਤੁਅਸਤੰ ਅਭੂਤੇ ॥੩੦॥੧੨੦॥
न त्रसतं न ग्रसतं समसतं सरूपे ॥ नमसतं नमसतं तुअसतं अभूते ॥३०॥१२०॥
Thou art Fearless, free from any bondage and Thou manifestest in all beings. I bow before Thee, I bow before Thee, O Wonderful Non-Elemental Lord.30.120.
ਤ੍ਵਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਪਾਧੜੀ ਛੰਦ ॥
त्वप्रसादि ॥ पाधड़ी छंद ॥

ਅਬਯਕਤ ਤੇਜ ਅਨਭਉ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ॥ ਅਛੈ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਦ੍ਵੈ ਅਨਾਸ ॥
अबयकत तेज अनभउ प्रकास ॥ अछै सरूप अद्वै अनास ॥
O Lord! Thou art Unmanifested Glory and Light of Knowledge. Thou art Unassailable Entity, Non-dual and Indestructible.
ਅਨਤੁਟ ਤੇਜ ਅਨਖੁਟ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥ ਦਾਤਾ ਦੁਰੰਤ ਸਰਬੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ॥੧॥੧੨੧॥
अनतुट तेज अनखुट भंडार ॥ दाता दुरंत सरबं प्रकार ॥१॥१२१॥
Thou art indivisible Glory and an Inexhaustible Store. Thou art the Infinite Donor of all kinds. 1.121.
ਅਨਭੂਤ ਤੇਜ ਅਨਿਛੱਜ ਗਾਤ ॥ ਕਰਤਾ ਸਦੀਵ ਹਰਤਾ ਸਨਾਤ ॥
अनभूत तेज अनिछ्ज गात ॥ करता सदीव हरता सनात ॥
Thine is the Wonderful Glory and Indestructible Body. Thou art ever the Creator and Remover of Meanness.
ਆਸਨ ਅਡੋਲ ਅਨਭੂਤ ਕਰਮ ॥ ਦਾਤਾ ਦਇਆਲ ਅਨਭੂਤ ਧਰਮ ॥੨॥੧੨੨॥
आसन अडोल अनभूत करम ॥ दाता दइआल अनभूत धरम ॥२॥१२२॥
Thy Seat is Stable and Thy actions are non-elemental. Thou art the Beneficent Donor and Thy religious discipline is Beyond the working of elements. 2.122.
ਜਿਹ ਸੱਤ੍ਰ ਮਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਨਹੀ ਜਨਮ ਜਾਤ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਮਾਤ ॥
जिह स्त्र मि्त्र नही जनम जात ॥ जिह पुत्र भ्रात नहीं मित्र मात ॥
Thou art that Ultimate Reality which is without enemy, friend, birth and caste, which is without son, brother, friend and mother.
ਜਿਹ ਕਰਮ ਭਰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਧਰਮ ਧਿਆਨ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਨੇਹ ਗੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਿਓਤਬਾਨ ॥੩॥੧੨੩॥
जिह करम भरम नहीं धरम धिआन ॥ जिह नेह गेह नहीं बिओतबान ॥३॥१२३॥
Which is action less, Illusion less and without any consideration of religious disciplines; which is without love, home and beyond any thought-system. 3.123.
ਜਿਹ ਜਾਤ ਪਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਨੇਹ ਗੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਿਹਨ ਚਿੱਤ੍ਰ ॥
जिह जात पात नहीं सत्र मित्र ॥ जिह नेह गेह नहीं चिहन चि्त्र ॥
Which is without caste, line, enemy and friend. Which is without love, home, mark and picture.
ਜਿਹ ਰੰਗ ਰੂਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਾਗ ਰੇਖ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਜਨਮ ਜਾਤਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਰਮ ਭੇਖ ॥੪॥੧੨੪॥
जिह रंग रूप नहीं राग रेख ॥ जिह जनम जाति नहीं भरम भेख ॥४॥१२४॥
Which is without caste, line, enemy and friend. Which is without is without birth, caste, illusion and guise. 4.124.
ਜਿਹ ਕਰਮ ਭਰਮ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਪਾਤਿ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਨੇਹ ਗੇਹ ਨਹੀ ਪਿਤ੍ਰ ਮਾਤ ॥
जिह करम भरम नही जाति पाति ॥ नही नेह गेह नही पित्र मात ॥
Which is without action, delusion, caste and lineage. Which is without love, home, father and mother.
ਜਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਥਾਮ ਨਹੀ ਬਰਗ ਬਿਆਧ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਨਹੀ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਧ ॥੫॥੧੨੫॥
जिह नाम थाम नही बरग बिआध ॥ जिह रोग सोग नही सत्र साध ॥५॥१२५॥
Which is without name, place, and also without species of maladies; which is without ailment, sorrow, enemy and a saintly friend. 5.125.
ਜਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀ ਦੇਹ ਨਾਸ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਰਾਸਿ ॥
जिह त्रास वास नही देह नास ॥ जिह आदि अंत नही रूप रासि ॥
Which never remains in fear and whose body is Indestructible; which has no beginning, no end, no form and no outlay.
ਜਿਹ ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਨਹੀ ਜੋਗ ਜੁਗਤਿ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਆਸ ਨਹੀ ਭੂਮਿ ਭੁਗਤਿ ॥੬॥੧੨੬॥
जिह रोग सोग नही जोग जुगति ॥ जिह त्रास आस नही भूमि भुगति ॥६॥१२६॥
Which has no ailment, sorrow and no device of Yoga; which has no fear, no hope, and no earthly enjoyment. 6.126.
ਜਿਹ ਕਾਲ ਬਿਆਲ ਕਟਿਓ ਨ ਅੰਗ ॥ ਅਛੈ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਖੈ ਅਭੰਗ ॥
जिह काल बिआल कटिओ न अंग ॥ अछै सरूप अखै अभंग ॥
Thou art That whose bodily limb hath never been stung by the serpent of death. Who is Unassailable Entity and Who is Indestructible and Imperishable.
ਜਿਹ ਨੇਤਿ ਨੇਤਿ ਉਦਰੰਤ ਬੇਦ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਅਲਖ ਰੂਪ ਕੱਥਤ ਕਤੇਬ ॥੭॥੧੨੭॥
जिह नेति नेति उदरंत बेद ॥ जिह अलख रूप क्थत कतेब ॥७॥१२७॥
Whom the Vedas call `Neti, Neti` (Not this, not this) and infinite. Whom the Semitic Scriptures call Incompre-hensible.7.127.
ਜਿਹ ਅਲਖ ਰੂਪ ਆਸਨ ਅਡੋਲ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਅਮਿਤ ਤੇਜ ਅਛੈ ਅਤੋਲ ॥
जिह अलख रूप आसन अडोल ॥ जिह अमित तेज अछै अतोल ॥
Whose Form is Unknowable and Whose Seat is stable. Whose light is unlimited and who is Invincible and Unweighable.
ਜਿਹ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਾਜ ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨ ਅਨੰਤ ॥ ਕਈ ਕਲਪ ਜੋਗ ਸਾਧਤ ਦੁਰੰਤ ॥੮॥੧੨੮॥
जिह धिआन काज मुनि जन अनंत ॥ कई कलप जोग साधत दुरंत ॥८॥१२८॥
For Whose meditation and sight, infinite sages perform hard Yoga Practices for many kalpas (ages).8.128.
ਤਨ ਸੀਤ ਘਾਮ ਬਰਖਾ ਸਹੰਤ ॥ ਕਈ ਕਲਪ ਏਕ ਆਸਨ ਬਿਤੰਤ ॥
तन सीत घाम बरखा सहंत ॥ कई कलप एक आसन बितंत ॥
For Thy realization they endure cold, heat and rain on their body. For many ages they remain in the same posture.
ਕਈ ਜਤਨ ਜੋਗ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥ ਸਾਧੰਤ ਤਦਪਿ ਪਾਵਤ ਨ ਪਾਰ ॥੯॥੧੨੯॥
कई जतन जोग बिदिआ बिचार ॥ साधंत तदपि पावत न पार ॥९॥१२९॥
They make many efforts and ruminate over the learning of Yoga. They practice Yoga, but still they cannot know Thy end. 9.129.
ਕਈ ਉਰਧ ਬਾਹ ਦੇਸਨ ਭ੍ਰਮੰਤ ॥ ਕਈ ਉਰਧ ਮਧ ਪਾਕ ਝੁਲੰਤ ॥
कई उरध बाह देसन भ्रमंत ॥ कई उरध मध पाक झुलंत ॥
Many wander in several countries with raised arms. Many burn their bodies upside down.
ਕਈ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਉਚਰੰਤ ਬੇਦ ॥ ਕਈ ਕੋਕ ਕਾਬ ਕਥਤ ਕਤੇਬ ॥੧੦॥੧੩੦॥
कई सिम्रिति सासत्र उचरंत बेद ॥ कई कोक काब कथत कतेब ॥१०॥१३०॥
Many recite Smritis, Shastras and Vedas. Many go through Kok Shastras (pertaining to sex), other poetry books and Semitic Scriptures. 10.130.
ਕਈ ਅਗਨਿਹੋਤ੍ਰ ਕਈ ਪਉਨ ਅਹਾਰ ॥ ਕਈ ਕਰਤ ਕੋਟ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕੋ ਅਹਾਰ ॥
कई अगनिहोत्र कई पउन अहार ॥ कई करत कोट म्रित को अहार ॥
Many perform havan (fire-worship) and many subsist on air. Many a million eat clay.
ਕਈ ਕਰਤ ਸਾਕ ਪੈ ਪਤ੍ਰ ਭਛ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਤਦਪਿ ਦੇਵ ਹੋਵਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਛ ॥੧੧॥੧੩੧॥
कई करत साक पै पत्र भछ ॥ नही तदपि देव होवत प्रत्छ ॥११॥१३१॥
May people eat green leaves. Still the Lord does not manifest Himself to them. 11.131.
ਕਈ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਨ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਰੀਤਿ ॥ ਕਈ ਬੇਦ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤਿ ॥
कई गीत गान गंधरब रीति ॥ कई बेद सासत्र बिदिआ प्रतीति ॥
There are many song-tunes and observances of Gandharvas. There are many who are absorbed in the learning of Vedas and Shastras.
ਕਹੂੰ ਬੇਦ ਰੀਤਿ ਜਗ ਆਦਿ ਕਰਮ ॥ ਕਹੂੰ ਅਗਨਿਹੋਤ੍ਰ ਕਹੂੰ ਤੀਰਥ ਧਰਮ ॥੧੨॥੧੩੨॥
कहूं बेद रीति जग आदि करम ॥ कहूं अगनिहोत्र कहूं तीरथ धरम ॥१२॥१३२॥
Somewhere Yagyas (sacrifices) are performed according to the Vedic injunctions. Somewhere havens are performed and somewhere at pilgrim-stations, the befitting rituals are being followed.12.132.
ਕਈ ਦੇਸਿ ਦੇਸਿ ਭਾਖਾ ਰਟੰਤ ॥ ਕਈ ਦੇਸਿ ਦੇਸਿ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਪੜ੍ਹੰਤ ॥
कई देसि देसि भाखा रटंत ॥ कई देसि देसि बिदिआ पड़्हंत ॥
Many speak languages of different countries. Many study the learning of various countries. Many study the learning of various countries.
ਕਈ ਕਰਤ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਨ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਨੇਕੁ ਤਾਸੁ ਪਾਯਤ ਨ ਪਾਰ ॥੧੩॥੧੩੩॥
कई करत भाति भातन बिचार ॥ नही नेकु तासु पायत न पार ॥१३॥१३३॥
Many ruminate over several types of philosophies. Still they cannot comprehend even a little of the Lord. 13.133.
ਕਈ ਤੀਰਥ ਤੀਰਥ ਭਰਮਤ ਸੁ ਭਰਮ ॥ ਕਈ ਅਗਨਿਹੋਤ੍ਰ ਕਈ ਦੇਵ ਕਰਮ ॥
कई तीरथ तीरथ भरमत सु भरम ॥ कई अगनिहोत्र कई देव करम ॥
Many wander away on various pilgrim-stations, in delusion. Some perform havens and some perform rituals to please gods.
ਕਈ ਕਰਤ ਬੀਰ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਦਪਿ ਤਾਸੁ ਪਾਯਤ ਨ ਪਾਰ ॥੧੪॥੧੩੪॥
कई करत बीर बिदिआ बिचार ॥ नहीं तदपि तासु पायत न पार ॥१४॥१३४॥
Some pay consideration to the learning of warfare. Still they cannot comprehend of the Lord.14.134.
ਕਹੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਰੀਤ ਕਹੂੰ ਜੋਗ ਧਰਮ ॥ ਕਈ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਉਚਰਤ ਸੁ ਕਰਮ ॥
कहूं राज रीत कहूं जोग धरम ॥ कई सिम्रिति सासत्र उचरत सु करम ॥
Somewhere royal discipline is being followed and somewhere the discipline of Yoga. Many perform the recitation of Smritis and Shastras.
ਨਿਉਲੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਰਮ ਕਹੂੰ ਹਸਤਿ ਦਾਨ ॥ ਕਹੂੰ ਅਸ੍ਵਮੇਧ ਮਖ ਕੋ ਬਖਾਨ ॥੧੫॥੧੩੫॥
निउली आदि करम कहूं हसति दान ॥ कहूं अस्वमेध मख को बखान ॥१५॥१३५॥
Somewhere Yogic Karmas including neoli (purgation of intestines) are being practiced and somewhere elephants are being given as gifts. Somewhere the horse sacrifices are being performed and their merits are being related.15.135.
ਕਹੂੰ ਕਰਤ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥ ਕਹੂੰ ਜੋਗ ਰੀਤਿ ਕਹੂੰ ਬਿਰਧਿ ਚਾਰਿ ॥
कहूं करत ब्रहम बिदिआ बिचार ॥ कहूं जोग रीति कहूं बिरधि चारि ॥
Somewhere the Brahmins are holding discussions about Theology. Somewhere the Yogic methods are being practiced and somewhere the four stages of life are being followed.
ਕਹੂੰ ਕਰਤ ਜੱਛ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਗਾਨ ॥ ਕਹੂੰ ਧੂਪ ਦੀਪ ਕਹੂੰ ਅਰਘ ਦਾਨ ॥੧੬॥੧੩੬॥
कहूं करत ज्छ गंध्रब गान ॥ कहूं धूप दीप कहूं अरघ दान ॥१६॥१३६॥
Somewhere the Yaksha and Gandharvas sing. Somewhere the offerings of incense, earthen lamps and libations are made. 16.136.
ਕਹੂੰ ਪਿਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਮ ਕਹੂੰ ਬੇਦ ਰੀਤਿ ॥ ਕਹੂੰ ਨ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਚ ਕਹੂੰ ਗਾਨ ਗੀਤ ॥
कहूं पित्र करम कहूं बेद रीति ॥ कहूं न्रित नाच कहूं गान गीत ॥
Somewhere karmas are performed for the manes and somewhere the Vedic injunctions are followed. Somewhere the dances are accomplished and somewhere songs are sung.
ਕਹੂੰ ਕਰਤ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥ ਕਈ ਭਜਤ ਏਕ ਪਗ ਨਿਰਾਧਾਰ ॥੧੭॥੧੩੭॥
कहूं करत सासत्र सिम्रिति उचार ॥ कई भजत एक पग निराधार ॥१७॥१३७॥
Somewhere the Shastras and Smritis are recited. May pray stading on a single foot. 17.137.
ਕਈ ਨੇਹ ਦੇਹ ਕਈ ਗੇਹ ਵਾਸ ॥ ਕਈ ਭ੍ਰਮਤ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸਨ ਉਦਾਸ ॥
कई नेह देह कई गेह वास ॥ कई भ्रमत देस देसन उदास ॥
Many are attached to their bodies and many reside in their homes. Many wander in various countries as hermits.
ਕਈ ਜਲ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕਈ ਅਗਨਿ ਤਾਪ ॥ ਕਈ ਜਪਤ ਉਰਧ ਲਟਕੰਤ ਜਾਪ ॥੧੮॥੧੩੮॥
कई जल निवास कई अगनि ताप ॥ कई जपत उरध लटकंत जाप ॥१८॥१३८॥
Many live in water and many endure the heat of fire. Many worship the Lord with face upside down. 18.138.
ਕਈ ਕਰਤ ਜੋਗ ਕਲਪੰ ਪ੍ਰਜੰਤ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਤਦਪਿ ਤਾਸ ਪਾਯਤ ਨ ਅੰਤ ॥
कई करत जोग कलपं प्रजंत ॥ नही तदपि तास पायत न अंत ॥
Many practice Yoga for various kalpas (ages). Still they cannot know the Lord`s end.
ਕਈ ਕਰਤ ਕੋਟ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਤਦਪਿ ਦਿਸਟਿ ਦੇਖੈ ਮੁਰਾਰ ॥੧੯॥੧੩੯॥
कई करत कोट बिदिआ बिचार ॥ नही तदपि दिसटि देखै मुरार ॥१९॥१३९॥
Many a million indulge in the study of sciences. Still they cannot behold the Sight of the Lord.19.139.
ਬਿਨ ਭਗਤਿ ਸਕਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਰਤ ਪਾਨ ॥ ਬਹੁ ਕਰਤ ਹੋਮ ਅਰੁ ਜਗ ਦਾਨ ॥
बिन भगति सकति नही परत पान ॥ बहु करत होम अरु जग दान ॥
Without the power of devotion they cannot realise the Lord. Though they perform havens, hold Yagyas (sacrifices) and offer charities.
ਬਿਨੁ ਏਕ ਨਾਮ ਇਕ ਚਿਤ ਲੀਨ ॥ ਫੋਕਟੋ ਸਰਬ ਧਰਮਾ ਬਿਹੀਨ ॥੨੦॥੧੪੦॥
बिनु एक नाम इक चित लीन ॥ फोकटो सरब धरमा बिहीन ॥२०॥१४०॥
Without the single-minded absorption in he Lord`s Name, All the religious rituals are useless. 20.140.
ਤ੍ਵਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਤੋਟਕ ਛੰਦ ॥
त्वप्रसादि ॥ तोटक छंद ॥
BY THY GRACE TOTAK STANZA
ਜੈ ਜੰਪਹਿ ਜੁੱਗਣ ਜੂਹ ਜੁਅੰ ॥ ਭੈ ਕੰਪਹਿ ਮੇਰੁ ਪਯਾਲ ਭੁਅੰ ॥
जै ज्मपहि जु्गण जूह जुअं ॥ भै क्मपहि मेरु पयाल भुअं ॥
Gather ye together and shout victory to that Lord, in whose Fear tremble the heaven, nether-world and the earth.
ਤਪੁ ਤਾਪਸ ਸਰਬ ਜਲੇਰੁ ਥਲੰ ॥ ਧਨਿ ਉਚਰਤ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਬਲੰ ॥੧॥੧੪੧॥
तपु तापस सरब जलेरु थलं ॥ धनि उचरत इंद्र कुबेर बलं ॥१॥१४१॥
For whose realization all the ascetics of water and land perform austerities. To Whom Indra, Kuber and king Bal hail 1.141.
ਅਨਖੇਦ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਭੇਦ ਅਭਿਅੰ ॥ ਅਨਖੰਡ ਅਭੂਤ ਅਛੇਦ ਅਛਿਅੰ ॥
अनखेद सरूप अभेद अभिअं ॥ अनखंड अभूत अछेद अछिअं ॥
He is Griefless Entity, Indiscriminate and Fearless. He is Indivisible, Elementless, Invincible and Indestructible.
ਅਨਕਾਲ ਅਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ਅਸੁਅੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਠਟੀਅੰ ਮੇਰ ਅਕਾਸ ਭੁਅੰ ॥੨॥੧੪੨॥
अनकाल अपाल दइआल असुअं ॥ जिह ठटीअं मेर अकास भुअं ॥२॥१४२॥
He is Deathless, Patronless, Beneficent and Self-Existent, Who hath established Sumeru, Heaven and Earth. 2.142.
ਅਨਖੰਡ ਅਮੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਨਰੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਰਚੀਅੰ ਦੇਵ ਅਦੇਵ ਬਰੰ ॥
अनखंड अमंड प्रचंड नरं ॥ जिह रचीअं देव अदेव बरं ॥
He is non-divisible, non-stable and Mighty Purusha, Who hath Created great gods and demons.
ਸਭ ਕੀਨੀ ਦੀਨ ਜਮੀਨੁ ਜਮਾਂ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਰਚੀਅੰ ਸਰਬ ਮਕੀਨੁ ਮਕਾਂ ॥੩॥੧੪੩॥
सभ कीनी दीन जमीनु जमां ॥ जिह रचीअं सरब मकीनु मकां ॥३॥१४३॥
Who hath Created both Earth and Sky. Who hath Created all the Universe and the objects of the universe. 3.143.
ਜਿਹ ਰਾਗ ਨ ਰੂਪ ਨ ਰੇਖ ਰੁਖੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਤਾਪ ਨ ਸ੍ਰਾਪ ਨ ਸੋਕ ਸੁਖੰ ॥
जिह राग न रूप न रेख रुखं ॥ जिह ताप न स्राप न सोक सुखं ॥
He has no affection for any form, sign of face. He is without any effect of heat and curse and without grief and comfort.
ਨ ਰੋਗ ਨ ਸੋਗ ਨ ਭੋਗ ਭੁਯੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਖੇਦ ਨ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਛੇਦ ਛਯੰ ॥੪॥੧੪੪॥
न रोग न सोग न भोग भुयं ॥ जिह खेद न भेद न छेद छयं ॥४॥१४४॥
He is without ailment, sorrow, enjoyment and fear. He is without pain, without contrast, without jealousy, without thirst.4.144.
ਜਿਹ ਜਾਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਤਿ ਨ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਰਚੀਅੰ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਛਿਤੰ ॥
जिह जाति न पाति न मात पितं ॥ जिह रचीअं छत्री छत्र छितं ॥
He is without caste, without caste, without lineage, without mother and father. He hast Created the Kshatriya warriors under royal canopies on the earth.
ਜਿਹ ਰਾਗ ਨ ਰੇਖ ਨ ਰੋਗ ਭਣੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਦ੍ਵੈਖ ਨ ਦਾਗ ਨ ਦੋਖ ਗਣੰ ॥੫॥੧੪੫॥
जिह राग न रेख न रोग भणं ॥ जिह द्वैख न दाग न दोख गणं ॥५॥१४५॥
He is said to be without affection, without lineage and ailment. He is considered without blemish, stain and malice. 5.145.
ਜਿਹ ਅੰਡਹ ਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਰਚਿਓ ॥ ਦਿਸ ਚਾਰ ਕਰੀ ਨਵ ਖੰਡ ਸਚਿਓ ॥
जिह अंडह ते ब्रहमंड रचिओ ॥ दिस चार करी नव खंड सचिओ ॥
He hath Created the Universe out of he Comic Egg. He hath Created forteen worlds and nine regions.
ਰਜ ਤਾਮਸ ਤੇਜ ਅਤੇਜ ਕੀਓ ॥ ਅਨਭਉ ਪਦ ਆਪ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਲੀਓ ॥੬॥੧੪੬॥
रज तामस तेज अतेज कीओ ॥ अनभउ पद आप प्रचंड लीओ ॥६॥१४६॥
He hath Created Rajas (activity), Tamas (morbidity), light and darkness. And he Himself manifested His Mighty Resplendent Form. 6.146.
ਸ੍ਰਿਅ ਸਿੰਧਰੂ ਬਿੰਧ ਨਗਿੰਧ ਨਗੰ ॥ ਸ੍ਰਿਅ ਜੱਛ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਫਣਿੰਦ ਭੁਜੰ ॥
स्रिअ सिंधरू बिंध नगिंध नगं ॥ स्रिअ ज्छ गंध्रब फणिंद भुजं ॥
He Created the ocean, Vindhyachal mountain and Sumeru mountain. He Created Yakshas, Gandharvas, Sheshanagas and serpents.
ਰਚਿ ਦੇਵ ਅਦੇਵ ਅਭੇਵ ਨਗੰ ॥ ਨਰਪਾਲ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਕਰਾਲ ਤ੍ਰਿਗੰ ॥੭॥੧੪੭॥
रचि देव अदेव अभेव नगं ॥ नरपाल न्रिपाल कराल त्रिगं ॥७॥१४७॥
He created the Indiscriminate gods, demons and men. He Created kings and the great crawling and dredful beings. 7.147.
ਕਈ ਕੀਟ ਪਤੰਗ ਭੁਜੰਗ ਨਰੰ ॥ ਰਚਿ ਅੰਡਜ ਸੇਤਜ ਉਤਭੁਜੰ ॥
कई कीट पतंग भुजंग नरं ॥ रचि अंडज सेतज उतभुजं ॥
He Created many worms, moths, serpents and men. He Created many beings of the divisions of creation including Andaja, Suetaja and Uddhihibhijja.
ਕਈ ਦੇਵ ਅਦੇਵ ਸਰਾਧ ਪਿਤੰ ॥ ਅਨਖੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਗਤੰ ॥੮॥੧੪੮॥
कई देव अदेव सराध पितं ॥ अनखंड प्रताप प्रचंड गतं ॥८॥१४८॥
He Created the gods, demons, Shradha (funeral rites) and manes. His Glory is Unassailable and His Gait is Supremely Speedy.8.148.
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਤਿ ਨ ਜੋਤਿ ਜੁਤੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਤਾਤ ਨ ਮਾਤ ਨ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਸੁਤੰ ॥
प्रभु जाति न पाति न जोति जुतं ॥ जिह तात न मात न भ्रात सुतं ॥
He is without caste and lineage, and as Light He is united with all. He is without father, mother, brother and son.
ਜਿਹ ਰੋਗ ਨ ਸੋਗ ਨ ਭੋਗ ਭੂਅੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਜੰਪਹਿ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਜੱਛ ਜੁਅੰ ॥੯॥੧੪੯॥
जिह रोग न सोग न भोग भूअं ॥ जिह ज्मपहि किंनर ज्छ जुअं ॥९॥१४९॥
He is without ailment and sorrow, He is not absorbed in enjoyments. To him, the Yakshas and Kinnars unitedly meditate.9.149.
ਨਰ ਨਾਰਿ ਨਪੁੰਸਕ ਜਾਹਿ ਕੀਏ ॥ ਗਣ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਜੱਛ ਭੁਜੰਗ ਦੀਏ ॥
नर नारि नपुंसक जाहि कीए ॥ गण किंनर ज्छ भुजंग दीए ॥
He hath Created men, women and eunuchs. He hath Created Yakshas, Kinnars, Ganas and serpents.
ਗਜ ਬਾਜ ਰਥਾਦਿਕ ਪਾਤਿ ਗਨੰ ॥ ਭਵਿ ਭੂਤ ਭਵਿਖ ਭਵਾਨ ਤੁਅੰ ॥੧੦॥੧੫੦॥
गज बाज रथादिक पाति गनं ॥ भवि भूत भविख भवान तुअं ॥१०॥१५०॥
He hath Created elephants, horses, chariots etc., including footmen. O Lord! Thou hast also Created the Past, Present and Future. 10.150.
ਜਿਹ ਅੰਡਜ ਸੇਤਜ ਜੇਰ ਰਜੰ ॥ ਰਚਿ ਭੂਮਿ ਅਕਾਸ ਪਤਾਲ ਜਲੰ ॥
जिह अंडज सेतज जेर रजं ॥ रचि भूमि अकास पताल जलं ॥
He hath Created all the Beings of the divisions of Creation including Andaja, Svetaja and Jeruja. He hath Created the Earth, Sky, nether-world and water.
ਰਚਿ ਪਾਵਕ ਪਉਣ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਬਲੀ ॥ ਬਨਿ ਜਾਸੁ ਕੀਓ ਫਲ ਫੂਲ ਕਲੀ ॥੧੧॥੧੫੧॥
रचि पावक पउण प्रचंड बली ॥ बनि जासु कीओ फल फूल कली ॥११॥१५१॥
He hath Created the powerful elements like fire and air. He hath Created the forest, fruit, flower and bud. 11.151.
ਭੂਅ ਮੇਰੁ ਅਕਾਸ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਛਿਤੰ ॥ ਰਚਿ ਰੋਜ ਇਕਾਦਸ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੰ ॥
भूअ मेरु अकास निवास छितं ॥ रचि रोज इकादस चंद्र ब्रितं ॥
He hath Created the Earth, Sumeru mountain and the sky, the Earth hath been made the abode for living. The Muslim fasts and the Ekadashi fast hath been associated with the moon.
ਦੁਤਿ ਚੰਦ ਦਿਨੀਸਹਿ ਦੀਪ ਦਈ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਪਾਵਕ ਪਉਣ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਮਈ ॥੧੨॥੧੫੨॥
दुति चंद दिनीसहि दीप दई ॥ जिह पावक पउण प्रचंड मई ॥१२॥१५२॥
The lamps of moon and sun have been Created. And the Powerful elements of fire and air have been Created. 12.152.
ਜਿਹ ਖੰਡ ਅਖੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਕੀਏ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਛਤ੍ਰਿ ਉਪਾਇ ਛਿਪਾਇ ਦੀਏ ॥
जिह खंड अखंड प्रचंड कीए ॥ जिह छत्रि उपाइ छिपाइ दीए ॥
He hath Created the indivisible sky with Sun within it. He hath Created the stars and concealed them within Sun`s Light.
ਜਿਹ ਲੋਕ ਚਤੁਰਦਾਸ ਚਾਰੁ ਰਚੇ ॥ ਗਣ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਦੇਵ ਅਦੇਵ ਸਚੇ ॥੧੩॥੧੫੩॥
जिह लोक चतुरदास चारु रचे ॥ गण गंध्रब देव अदेव सचे ॥१३॥१५३॥
He hath Created the fourteen beautiful worlds. And hath also Created Ganas, Gandharvas, gods and demons.13.153.
ਅਨਧੂਤ ਅਭੂਤ ਅਛੂਤ ਮਤੰ ॥ ਅਨਗਾਧ ਅਬਯਾਧਿ ਅਨਾਦਿ ਗਤੰ ॥
अनधूत अभूत अछूत मतं ॥ अनगाध अबयाधि अनादि गतं ॥
He is Immaculate, Elementless with unpolluted intellect. He is Unfathomable, without malady and is active from Eternity.
ਅਨਖੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਅਛੇਦ ਨਰੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਚਾਰ ਚਤ੍ਰ ਦਿਸ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਫਿਰੰ ॥੧੪॥੧੫੪॥
अनखेद अभेद अछेद नरं ॥ जिह चार चत्र दिस चक्र फिरं ॥१४॥१५४॥
He is without anguish, without difference, and Unassailable Purusha. His discus rotes over all the fourteen worlds. 14.154.
ਜਿਹ ਰਾਗ ਨ ਰੰਗ ਨ ਰੇਖ ਰੁਗੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਸੋਗ ਨ ਭੋਗ ਨ ਜੋਗ ਜੁਗੰ ॥
जिह राग न रंग न रेख रुगं ॥ जिह सोग न भोग न जोग जुगं ॥
He is without affection, colour and without any mark. He is without sorrow, enjoyment and association with Yoga.
ਭੂਅ ਭੰਜਨ ਗੰਜਨ ਆਦਿ ਸਿਰੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਬੰਦਤ ਦੇਵ ਅਦੇਵ ਨਰੰ ॥੧੫॥੧੫੫॥
भूअ भंजन गंजन आदि सिरं ॥ जिह बंदत देव अदेव नरं ॥१५॥१५५॥
He is the Destroyer of the Earth and the Primal Creator. The gods, demons and men all make obeisance to Him. 15.155.
ਗਣ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਜੱਛ ਭੁਜੰਗ ਰਚੇ ॥ ਮਣਿ ਮਾਣਿਕ ਮੋਤੀ ਲਾਲ ਸਚੇ ॥
गण किंनर ज्छ भुजंग रचे ॥ मणि माणिक मोती लाल सचे ॥
He Created Ganas, Kinnars, Yakshas and serpents. He Created the gems, rubies, pearls and jewels.
ਅਨਭੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਅਨਗੰਜ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੰ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਪਾਰ ਨ ਪਾਵਤ ਪੂਰ ਮਤੰ ॥੧੬॥੧੫੬॥
अनभंज प्रभा अनगंज ब्रितं ॥ जिह पार न पावत पूर मतं ॥१६॥१५६॥
His Glory is Unassailable and His account is Eternal. No. one of perfect wisdom could know His Limits. 16.156.
ਅਨਖੰਡ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਡੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ॥ ਜੈ ਜੰਪਤ ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਸਭਾ ॥
अनखंड सरूप अडंड प्रभा ॥ जै ज्मपत बेद पुरान सभा ॥
His is the Invincible Entity and His Glory is Unpunishable. All the Vedas and Puranas hail Him.
ਜਿਹ ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬ ਅਨੰਤ ਕਹੈ ॥ ਜਿਹ ਭੂਤ ਅਭੂਤ ਨ ਭੇਦ ਲਹੈ ॥੧੭॥੧੫੭॥
जिह बेद कतेब अनंत कहै ॥ जिह भूत अभूत न भेद लहै ॥१७॥१५७॥
The Vedas and Katebs (Semitic Scriptures) call Him Infinite. The Gross and Subtle both could not know His Secret. 17.157.
ਜਿਹ ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਕਤੇਬ ਜਪੈ ॥ ਸੁਤਿ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਅਧੋਮੁਖ ਤਾਪ ਤਪੈ ॥
जिह बेद पुरान कतेब जपै ॥ सुति सिंधु अधोमुख ताप तपै ॥
The Vedas, Puranas and Katebs pray to Him. The son of ocean i.e. moon, with face upside down performs austerities for His realization.
ਕਈ ਕਲਪਨ ਲੌ ਤਪ ਤਾਪ ਕਰੈ ॥ ਨਹੀ ਨੈਕੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਨਿ ਪਰੈ ॥੧੮॥੧੫੮॥
कई कलपन लौ तप ताप करै ॥ नही नैकु क्रिपानिधि पानि परै ॥१८॥१५८॥
He performs austerities for many kalpas (ages), still the Merciful Lord is not realized by him even for a short while.18.158.
ਜਿਹ ਫੋਕਟ ਧਰਮ ਸਭੈ ਤਜ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਇਕ ਚਿੱਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਿਧਿ ਕੋ ਭਜ ਹੈਂ ॥
जिह फोकट धरम सभै तज हैं ॥ इक चि्त क्रिपानिधि को भज हैं ॥
Those who forsake all the fake religions, and meditate on the Merciful Lord single-mindedly;
ਤੇਊ ਯਾ ਭਵ ਸਾਗਰ ਕੋ ਤਰ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਭਵਿ ਭੂਲ ਨ ਦੇਹ ਪੁਨਰ ਧਰ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੯॥੧੫੯॥
तेऊ या भव सागर को तर हैं ॥ भवि भूल न देह पुनर धर हैं ॥१९॥१५९॥
They ferry across this dreadful world-ocean, and never come again in human body even by mistake.19.159.
ਇਕ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਟਿ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ ॥ ਇਮ ਬੇਦ ਉਚਾਰਤ ਸਾਰਸੁਤੀ ॥
इक नाम बिना नही कोटि ब्रिती ॥ इम बेद उचारत सारसुती ॥
Without One Lord`s Name, one cannot be saved even by millions of fasts. The Superb Shrutis (of the Vedas) declare thus.
ਜੋਊ ਵਾ ਰਸ ਕੇ ਚਸਕੇ ਰਸ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਤੇਊ ਭੂਲ ਨ ਕਾਲ ਫੰਧਾ ਫਸ ਹੈਂ॥੨੦॥੧੬੦॥
जोऊ वा रस के चसके रस हैं ॥ तेऊ भूल न काल फंधा फस हैं॥२०॥१६०॥
Those, who are absorbed with the ambrosia of the Name even by Mistake, they will not be entrapped in he snare of death.20.160.
ਤ੍ਵਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਨਰਾਜ ਛੰਦ ॥
त्वप्रसादि ॥ नराज छंद ॥
