Facebook friends of Punjab FM Manpreet Badal stand by him in hour of crisis

CHANDIGARH: The suspension of Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Badal from Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD) has come as an opportunity for facebook friends of Mannpreet to rally behind him.
Shelley Panesar one of the admirers of Manpreet Badal has quoted Albert Einstein saying, “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocrities”.
The messages for Manpreet Badal are mostly aimed to boost his image ranging from Shame on Akali Dal to ‘Deh Shiva Var Mohe Eih, Shubh Karman Te Kabhun Na darun..Nischey Kar Apni Jeet Karoon’.
Manpreet Badal has acknowledged the gesture of his admirers by saying, “Thank you all for your support. It truly means a lot me. Your faith is what gives me the strength, courage and resolve to keep going.”
Amardeep Lohcham writes, “Salute you for the honesty and commitment to the Punjab. Parmatma nu tuhadi chardi-kala vaste ardas karda han. You do not belong to the class (SAD- people who just think of themselves and hav no plans for the generations to come).
Madhur Mehta writes, “There is no place for genuine person in the politics…Manpreet i salute u..75 % punjab is wid u….”

Amrit Anoop Singh Bains writes:Shame on Akali dal !! As you righlty said “ego of an individual cannot be bigger than ego of punjab” but I guess politics is only for those for whom self interest is what matters.

Another Manpreet friend Aashim Sareen says for Sukhbir Badal, “Dignity does not come in possessing honors, but in deserving them..your fight for conscience..and for land of punjab is admired. For sukhbir i have just to say that.. The hardest tumble a man can make is to fall over his own bluff”.

Amaninder Singh Gill says, “Finally Manpreet Badal has been ousted form SAD(B) for failing to fall in party line. Its pitiful that Punjab, has lost such a reasonable well-read, honest & level headed leader !
And final word came from Jasjeet Singh who says, “Sukhbir is a dictator and he spoiled the punjab’s political culture. He evolved the culture like Bihar and you will see political killings will be part of it. Ideologically, we might not agree with you but you should start thinking to float a third party and people of Punjab are looking for it. Most Taksali (old) Akalis… and some reasonable people from other parties will join”.
